Mbo (secondary vocational education) level
Among the many opportunities you have with an Mbo diploma are working with financial accounts, supplying figures for reports, preparing parts of annual accounts, making returns for corporate income tax and VAT, credit management and invoicing.
If you work accurately, enjoy working with figures and have a great feeling of responsibility, an auditing position may be just right for you. As a trading contract administrator, for instance, you work closely with the assistant controller to provide all kinds of figures and reports.
Hbo (higher professional education) and university level
Nuon is an exceptionally diverse company, so working activities vary enormously from one division to another and from one department to another.
As an assistant controller on the trading floor, for example, you carry out the planning and control cycle for, among other things, the trading and generation of green power. You are also responsible for auditing purchases and sales. This is definitely not a 9 to 5 job because trading is a 24/7 process.
We also have many jobs at the Corporate Center, which operates Nuon-wide. You could take a position there as an auditor or financial specialist and needless to say we have numerous jobs in the area of planning & control, tax and compliance.
