Nuon has a modern trading floor where energy trading activities take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since July 2009 Nuon's trade and wholesale department has joined forces with Vattenfall Trading to form the new Business Unit Vattenfall Energy Trading.
Vattenfall Energy Trading is the central trading hub of the Vattenfall Group. Our trading house is located across Europe with about 400 professionals working in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Stockholm and Warsaw.
Our specialists operate in the highly volatile energy markets to mitigate risks on behalf of the entire Vattenfall group. We trade commodities like electricity, gas, coal, freight and emissions and take responsibility for a diversified sourcing of fuels and carbon credits.
