Remuneration
Nuon pays salaries that exceed the market average. We offer excellent starting salaries, with opportunities for growth. You also receive an end-of-year payment and we have a profit-sharing scheme, which obviously depends on our results for the year. Nuon also has attractive bonus schemes for employees who perform exceptionally well.
Reward package to suit you
Meeting different compensation and benefit wishes, we operate a cafeteria model so you can put your own package together. You may choose to buy or sell leave hours or purchase a bicycle in return for part of your end-of-year payment or holiday allowance. And there are many other ways of swapping benefits to tailor your package to your personal needs.
Compelling discounts
Thanks to our agreements with ING Bank and Centraal Beheer, as a Nuon employee you get an interesting reduction on financial products such as mortgages and insurance. And of course you get discounts on Nuon products such as gas, electricity and home security.
Life-course savings
Nuon has arranged a life-course savings scheme. This enables you to save amounts from your gross salary to help fund periods of unpaid leave.
Mobility
We refund employees' home-work travel and public transport costs. At our larger locations we even have hybrid pool cars you can use for business travel.
