Nuon in brief
Nuon generates, transports, supplies and trades sustainable and other energy. We have a leading position in the Dutch market and are growing rapidly in Belgium and Germany. We are also at the forefront of sustainable entrepreneurship.
Energy market on the move
The energy sector in the Netherlands has changed completely over the past few years. The market was liberalised in 2004 and consumers can now choose their energy supplier themselves. This gives us the opportunity to distinguish ourselves from others. We do so primarily by devising innovative services and investing in sustainable entrepreneurship.
Career opportunities
All these changes are creating unique career opportunities. Working for Nuon means being bold and entrepreneurial because you can't necessarily fall back on tried and tested methods from the past. You need to spot and seize new opportunities, take initiative and be customer and result-oriented. You need to be an innovator and good communicator. And, most importantly, a team player.
If you have all these qualities, you will be given every opportunity to develop. Both professionally and personally. Our employees are the heart of our organisation because they are what makes the difference.
