Traineeships
Especially for high potentials who want to get the best out of themselves and want to grow into a heavy position in a short time, Nuon has five trainee programmes. One general management traineeship and four specialised programmes.
Your development is the focal point of all the programmes. You will get to know the organisation and you will carry out serious projects with a clear final result on which you have a direct influence. By taking responsibility for this you will learn about your own capacities and qualities.
Excellent coaching
Needless to say, a great deal of independence and self-sufficiency is expected of you, but you will not be on your own. You will be well coached. By your principals for your projects and by a mentor during the entire traineeship. They will also help you to compile your personal development plan.
Intensive educational programme
In addition, you will follow an intensive educational programme. You will take most of the training courses with other trainees. The courses take place both in the Netherlands and elsewhere.
For whom?
To be eligible for one of our traineeships you will need to meet a few criteria:
- You are interested in the energy market.
- You have (depending on the type of traineeship) almost or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree programme.
- You have no more than a year's work experience and are no older than 28.
- You have a good command of spoken and written English and Dutch.
We also look at your personal qualities and profile. You are a go-getter, a team player, enterprising, ambitious and result-driven. You are not afraid of hard work, have the courage to take risks and are able to devise creative 'out of the box' solutions.
