Wind energy
Wind is one of the principal renewable sources of energy. Forty-five per cent of the renewable electricity production is from wind energy. Nuon has been active in the domain of wind energy for many years and supplies more than a quarter of the total wind energy in the Netherlands.
This makes Nuon one of the biggest players. We are more than happy to play such a leading role and dynamic role in developing renewable energy, since our ambition is to operate in a climate-neutral manner by 2050. Wind energy is of great importance in this. It is an environmentally friendly form of electricity generation that releases no hazardous substances. That is why wind is the future.
