Ø. Loseth
Mr. Løseth (1958) was appointed as chairman of the Supervisory Board on 8 April 2010.
His current tem expires in 2014. On 1 April 2010, Mr. Løseth resigned as member and Chief Executive Officer of the Management Board of N.V. Nuon Energy and was appointed as the president and CEO of Vattenfall AB as per 12 April 2010. Mr. Løseth graduated in 1983 for his Master Engineering from the Technical University of Trondheim and he studied Economics in the period 1985-1986, Bedriftsøkonomisk Institutt, Bergen.
In the period 2003 until April 2010, Mr. Løseth fulfilled several management positions at n.v. Nuon and after 1 July 2009 at N.V. Nuon Energy. He was a member of the Management Board since January 2006 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer as per April 2008.
Before joining Nuon in 2003, Mr. Løseth fulfilled several management positions at Statkraft in Norway. Before his career at Statkraft, he worked at Naturkraft, Alliance Gas and Statoil.
Mr. Løseth has the Norwegian nationality.
