J.H. Schraven
Mr. Schraven (1942) was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board on 17 June 2009.
His current term expires in 2013. Mr. Schraven used to be Chairman of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers VNO-NCW, and before that he was president-director of Shell Nederland B.V. Mr. Schraven was also a member of the Supervisory Board of n.v. Nuon.
Mr. Schraven is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tata Steel Nederland B.V. and a non-executive director of Tata Steel Ltd (India). He is member of the Supervisory Board of Stork B.V. and BNP OBAM N.V. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Foundation Trust Office Unilever N.V.
Outside the business sector, Mr. Schraven serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Netherlands Blood Institute Sanquin. His other directorships include the Netherlands Normalization Institute (NEN), the Carnegie Foundation and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Mr. Schraven has the Dutch nationality.
