Community involvement
Nuon is at the centre of the community and seeks to make a positive contribution to its development.
We show our corporate social responsibility by sponsoring a select number of activities in the area of sport, nature and society, technology and innovation, and culture.
We also promote energy awareness among children by distributing education packages and investing in information campaigns.
In addition, Nuon helps train young people by offering work experience placements. Also to unemployed young people.
Stakeholder dialogue
Nuon is building a corporate culture that inherently requires an open and constructive relationship with all parties within our industry and community. We see this as a continuous learning process, in which we seek to establish a balance between our own views and the opinions of the many interest groups we deal with. Dialogue with our stakeholders is an essential part of this process. We firmly believe that involving stakeholders in our activities results in practical solutions that enjoy wide-ranging support.
