Nuon has decided to put assets of Helianthos up for sale. An online auction will give all interested parties an equal opportunity to take over all assets or parts of the business of Helianthos. For Nuon, this step is a logical conclusion to the liquidation process.

December 29, 2011| Amsterdam- Vattenfall publishes available capacity of power plants and gas storage in the Netherlands
Vattenfall will start publishing details on availabilities of its power plants in the Netherlands and the Epe gas storage facility at the Dutch-German border as of 28th of December. On its webpage www.nuon.com/transparency, Vattenfall will inform about unplanned outages or reduced output of power production units which equal or exceed an installed capacity of 100 Megawatt. In addition, Vattenfall will publish scheduled and unscheduled non-availabilities of gas inflow and outflow capacities at its Epe gas storage until 2014.*

December 16, 2011| Amsterdam- Vattenfall sells electricity distribution and district heating businesses in Finland to Lakeside Network Investments consortium
Vattenfall and LNI Acquisition Oy have signed an agreement regarding the sale of Vattenfall“s electricity distribution and heat businesses in Finland for a total enterprise value of approximately EUR 1.54 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed within the first quarter 2012.
