Apr 04, 2008 | Amsterdam Nuon Energy Shops organise solar panel information evening

On Thursday 10 April from 18.00 to 21.00 the Nuon Energy Shops will organise an information evening about solar panels. During that evening, information will be given about purchasing solar panels and about the subsidy scheme, as well as about assembly and return delivery to the electricity grid. It is not necessary to make a reservation for the information evening.
Using solar panels it is possible for householders to generate some of their own domestic energy requirements. The subsidy scheme for solar panels took effect on 1 April, making it even more interesting to purchase solar panels. The aim of the subsidy is to bring the cost of solar energy in line with the cost of electricity from the power point. The government body SenterNovem is responsible for administering the scheme.
Since 21 March Nuon has been offering various solar panel packages, from entry-level packages to comprehensive sets. As an extra service Nuon has developed a tool to make completion of the subsidy application easier. In addition, an order of subsidy application is rejected by the government, so buyers run no risks.
